The new weapons that you do have definitely make the game less punishing for those people who never want to get discovered. A lot of the game is going through training grounds and making sure that you have the the option to take out enemies the way you want to.
In the past, the previous games, there weren't as many weapons (dual wield powerful weapons), because the game was more focused on giving you a really good setpiece or making sure that you assassinated a target a certain way. These are going to be battles that allow the game to be more action focused. This game is going to have a lot more combat mechanics. The times of the viking raids against saxon are here!
